OBITUARY OF GREGORY LEE ATHERTON

October 12, 1991
Gregory Lee Atherton, 42, died Thursday at his home. Deputy Coroner Robert
Carter said the death was a suicide.
Atherton was a salesman for Lincoln National Life Insurance Co. and a member
of Middletown United Methodist Church.
Survivors: his wife, the former Pam Gilpin; a daughter Courtney L. Atherton;
a son, Blair J. Atherton; his parents, Glenn and Roberta Atherton of
Middletown; a sister, Cynthia Webb of Redington Shores, Fla.; and a brother,
Jon M. Atherton of Middletown.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Monday, Willhite-Ballard Funeral Home, 11507 Main St.,
Middletown. Burial: Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation: 7-9 p.m. Saturday
and 2-5 and 7-9 Sunday.
Memorial gifts: Metro United Way.
Alexiss Nicole Barrett, infant daughter of Ivy Johnson and Richard Barrett,
died Tuesday at Humana Hospital-University of Louisville.
Survivors besides her parents: her grandparents, P. T. and Vivian Nichols of
Owensboro.
Burial: private. There will be no visitation.
