The Cherokee Advance 4 Feb 1882 p 3
Hill-Mrs. Frances Hill, widow of Birdwell Hill, died at her home in Cherokee
county, Jan. 26th 1882. She was born in Pickens Dist., S.C., 1797 -moved to
Georgia in 1840.  She was rather an extraordinary woman, both mentally and
physically.  She was a consistent member of the Baptist church, for more than
fifty years.  Died in the hope of a blessed immortality.  Was buried at Sixes,
beside her husband, and now we trust her spirit resides in the paradise of God.
