dispensation of publication of bans.  Witnesses: Walter Murphy and Anna Brady

From the records of St. Stephen church, Hazelwood, Pittsburgh, PA

Hugh, born October 10, and baptized October 11, 1871. Parents Thomas Dunn, 
born in Ireland and Margaret Murphy of Six Mile Ferry, Sponsors (blank) Murphy 
and (blank) Murphy.


Additional Comments:
St. Michael Seminary Chapel served the Catholic community of 
Glenwood/Hazelwood from 1857 to 1870 (when St. Stephen Church was built) It 
was not difficult to travel by ferry from Six Mile Ferry (now the neighborhood 
of Hays) on the South Side of the Monongahela River, to the Glenwood and 
adjacent Hazelwood neighborhoods on the opposite side of the river. per Ken
