To any Minister of the Gospel, Justice of the Peace, or other officers or 
persons authorized by law to solemnize marriage: 
     You are hereby authorized to join together in the holy state of 
Matrimony, according to the rights and ceremonies of your church, society or 
religious denomination and the laws of  the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania,  
John A. Griffith and Ella Bolinger
     GIVEN UNDER MY HAND AND THE SEAL OF THE ORPHANS' COURT of said County 
of Huntingdon at Huntingdon, Pa.
this 17th day of November A. D. 1885

DUPLICATE CERTIFICATE
No. 17
      I, J. M. Johnston hereby certify, that on the 19th day of November
One thousand eight hundred and eighty five in Clay Township,
John Griffith and Ella Bollinger were by me united in marriage, in accordance 
with license issued by the Clerk of the Orphans' Court of Huntingdon County, 
Pennsylvania, numbered 17.  
When returned Dec. 5, 1885                J. M. Johnston
                                          Minister of the Gospel


Additional Comments:
In the Application and License Ella's last name was spelled with one L, but in 
the Duplicate Certificate it was spelled with 2 L's.
