  Minnie E. Himes, 88, of RD 1, Box 27, Reynoldsville, died Saturday at DuBois 
  Regional Hospital West.  She was born Sept. 29, 1907, in Henderson Township, a 
  daughter of the late Robert and Annie Carr Pifer. 
    She was married on Nov. 29, 1929, to Harold L. Himes, who also preceded her 
  in death.
    She was a former school teacher and was a retired employee of Sylvaia.  She 
  was a member of St. Peter's Church in Luthersburg.
    She is survived by a son, Elton G. Himes of Reynoldsville; a daughter, 
  Marily L. Bennett of Eldred; six grandchildren; a brother, Raymond Pifer of 
  DuBois; and three sisters, Iva Clark of Emporium, Velma Reiter and Dorothy 
  DeBoer, both of Luthersburg.
    She was also preceded in death by two sisters.
