    Alda M. Himes, 80   Alda M. Himes, 80 of Maple Street, Hawthorn, died 
  Tuesday, August 1, 1989 at Brookville Hospital.  Mrs. Himes was born May 25, 
  1909 in Ringgold, the daughter of Charles and Ella (Weaver) Boddorf.  She was 
  married October 27, 1937 to Floyd B. "Ted" Himes.  A member of the Springside 
  Baptist Church of New Bethlehem, she played piano at Ringgold United Methodist 
  Church for 12 years.  Surviving relatives include her husband, Floyd B. "Ted" 
  Himes, and one nephew.  She was preceded by her parents; a brother, Ray 
  Boddorf; and a nephew.  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the 
  Charles D. Alcorn funeral Home of Hawthorn. The Rev. Kenneth Brougham will 
  officiate. Interment will be in Hawthorn Cemetery.  Friends will be received 
  from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
