DUBOIS (PA) COURIER-EXPRESS, Sept. 22, 1967
WALTER F. CALHOUN
BROCKWAY -- Walter F. Calhoun, native and lifelong resident of this area, died
at 11:45 p.m. Wednesday in Maple Avenue Hospital, DuBois. He was 79.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Carlson Funeral
Home here by Rev. Benjamin Davis, assisted by Rev. George Nagle. Burial will
be in Beechwoods Cemetery.
Friends may call after 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Calhoun was born June 24, 1888 in Brockway, son of Elmer and Mary Ann
Schuckers Calhoun. He was married Oct. 26, 1915 to Eva Daugherty. She
survives. Mr. Calhoun was a member of the Sugar Hill Presbyterian Church.
Besides his wife, Mr. Calhoun leaves a daughter, Mrs. Mabel Mascaro, Baltimor
[e] Md.; a son, Bernard, Pittsburgh; two foster daughters, Mrs. Patricia Delp,
Brockway RD 1; and Mrs. Donna Butters, Brockport RD 2; four sisters, Mrs.
Martha Carlson and Mrs. Olive Anderson, Brockway; Mrs. Edna Wingard, Lewis
Run; and Mrs. Mary Webster, Bradford; four brothers, Charles, Harry, and
Arden, Brockway; and Howard, Cloe; two grandchildren, and four great-
grandchildren.
