                              James Calhoun
 James Riley Calhoun, 81, Newberry, died yesterday morning at his home.
 He was a retired farmer. He was born in Ashburn, Ga. and had lived here for a 
year and a half. He was a Baptist.
 Survivors include his widow Bessie; four daughters, Mrs. Katie Lee Daniel, 
Valdosta, Mrs. Don K. Hough, Cincinatti, Mrs. Doris A. Huggins and Mrs. John 
W. Caldwell, both of Newberry; and one, son, James V. , Leesburg; two sisters, 
Mrs. Lizzie King and Mrs. Annie Mathis, both of Thomasville, Ga.
 Funeral services will be at 3pm tomorrow in the Williams-Thomas Funeral Home 
with Rev. John Martin officiating. Burial will be in Newberry Cemetery.

Additional Comments:
James was born 10 May 1882 to Henry C. Calhoun and  Ophelia Flutella Carroll 
Calhoun.
