                            Jack Willard Calhoun
 Services were held on Sunday for lifelong Colquitt County resident Jack 
Willard Calhoun of Route 2, Pavo, who died Saturday at Colquitt Regional 
Medical Center following an extended illness, He was 70.
 The services were held at 4pm at Cobb Funeral Chapel. Burial was held in 
Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Bobby Clay officiated. Pallbearers were 
Donald Boyd, Billy Wilkins, Danny Alderman, Harold Hiers, Huey Hiers, and 
Hilton Hiers.
 Mr. Calhoun was a farmer. He was born in Colquitt County on Aug. 2, 1920 and 
was the son of the late John Cecil Calhoun and Rosa Della Johnston Calhoun.
 Mr. Calhoun is survived by Bernice Ford Calhoun of Pavo; two sons, Jack W. 
Calhoun Jr. and John D. Calhoun, both of Moultrie; one brother, Cecil Calhoun 
of Moultrie; two sisters, Sue Delmar of Pensacola, Fla. and Kittie McMullen of 
Moultrie; and four grandchildren.
 Cobb Funeral Chapel had charge of arrangements.
