Rushie Bell Brown-Boston

ALBANY — Rushie Bell Brown-Boston, 78, of 525 Residence Ave., Albany, died 
Tuesday, December 10, 2002, at Albany Health Care Center.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Oakie Hill Baptist Church with 
interment in Union Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Bobby Chattmon, pastor, 
will officiate.

A native of Colquitt County, Mrs. Brown-Boston was born December 25, 1923. She 
was a homemaker and attended Baker County public schools. She was a former 
member of Mose Grove Baptist Church in Newton.

Survivors are a loving and devoted family: her husband, Johnny B. Boston; a 
stepson, John Henry Williams; two sisters, Willie Mae Price and Lucinda Maples, 
both of Albany; three brothers, Elmo Brown and James Brown, both of Albany, and 
Freddie Brown of Miami, FL; two stepsisters, Lucille Fields and Mary Davis, 
both of Atlanta; a brother-in-law, Willie and Doris Boston and family of 
Albany; two sisters-in-law, Grace Kelson of Albany and Eva Simmons of 
Stubenville, OH; two brothers and one sister preceded her in death, Hope Brown 
Jr., R.C. Brown, and Evana Missouri Felton; nine step-grandchildren and a host 
of nieces and nephews, relatives and friends mourn her passing.
