Atkinson County Citizen - April 7, 2011
 Willard Riley Fain, age 45, of Alma died early Sunday morning April 3, 2011 
at the Bacon County Hospital after an extended illness. He was a native of 
Lakeland, GA but had lived in Alma since 2002. He was son of the late James 
L. “J.L.” Fain, Sr. and Mary Ann Tankersly Fain. He was a Captain with the 
CCA (Correction Corp of America) prison system in Nicholls the past 11 
years.
 Survivors include his wife, Tory Kinlaw Fain of Alma, son, Will Fain of 
Pearson; daughter, Martha Fain of Pearson; brother, James L. Fain, Jr. of 
Stockton; sister, Mary Peterson of Stockton; aunt, Dottie Biff of Ormond 
Beach, FL; uncle, Howard Tankersly of New Syrma Beach, FL; nephew, Tyler 
Peterson, Valdosta and special friends, Craig & Wendi Smith of Adel and 
Laura Belue of Douglas.
 Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 3 p.m. from the chapel 
of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Raymond Cason and Rev. Edward Mathews 
officiating. 
 Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
 Active pallbearers will be the C C A, S.O.R.T. Team (Special Operations 
Response Team). Honorary will be the S.O.R.T. Team, classmates of 1984 
Lanier County graduates and friends.
 Crosby Funeral Home is in charge of all the arrangements.
