Emmett Edwards
   Dies of Wounds

  Emmet Edwards, the 14-year-old boy who was accidentally shot near Covington 
Saturday, died at a sanitarium Monday morning.  He is survived by his father, 
W. C. Edwards, of Macon, two brothers, F. R. Edwards, of Lanett, Ala., and C. 
O.  Edwards, of Manning, Ga., and one sister, Mrs. A. M. Young of Oxford, Ga.  
The body was taken to the chapel of H. M. Patterson & Son.

  The reamins were brought to the home of the brother, F. R. Edwards, Monday 
night, and interred at Lanett Cemetery Tuesday afternoon.  The funeral services 
were conducted by Rev. O. A. Bonner, pastor of the Methodist church.
