                             CALEB STAPLETON.
            Caleb Stapleton, 87, of Greenfield, died Monday, Aug. 4, 1997, at 
6 a.m.
            He was born Aug. 10, 1910, to William T. and Katherine Shelton 
Stapleton, in Clay County, Ky.
            Mr. Stapleton was formerly married to Marie Vickers Luck.
            A funeral service will be held Thursday, Aug. 7, 1997, at the 
Murray Funeral Home at 2 p.m.  Burial  will follow at  the Gilboa Cemetery, 
new Petersburg.
           Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday, Aug. 6, 1997.
