                                   BARFELL.
       William A. Barfell, 95, 421 Foraker st, died today at 3:30 a.m. in the 
Buckingham Nursing Home.
        Born March 29, 1875 in Ohio, he was a son of Henry and Margaret 
Spurgeon Barfell.
        Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Mary E. Rooker, Waverly Rt. 3. 
        Service will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. in the Murray Funeral Home, 
followed by burial in Greenfield Cemetery.
        Friends may call at Murray's after 4 p.m., Wednesday.

February 12, 1971 in Highland County, Ohio.  He was the son of 2. Henry 
Barfell and 3. Margaret Elizabeth Spurgeon.  He married (1) Hattie May Smith 
September 04, 1905.
	
Children of William Barfell and Hattie Smith are:
		i.	Mary Elizabeth Barfell, born September 18, 1908; 
married ? Rooker.
		ii.	Charles Edgar Barfell, born January 05, 1907.

	2.  Henry Barfell.  He met 3. Margaret Elizabeth Spurgeon.
	3.  Margaret Elizabeth Spurgeon, born November 11, 1850 in Ohio; died 
July 31, 1927 in Highland County, Ohio.  She was the daughter of 6. James 
Thomas Spurgeon and 7. Sarah Ellen Lytle.
