Floyd Bullock, of Columbus is in town.

Mrs. J. H. Lowe is visiting relative at Americus.

Mr. C. H. McCall was in Americus Tuesday.

Lucius Jackson returned from Upatoie Monday.

Miss Alice Webb visited relatives at Americus Monday.

Charlie Belk, of Smithville, has been in town this week.

Clyde Hogg spent several days at Columbus the past week.

Hon. S. B. Storey and Messrs. J. G. Hillman and C. H. Willis were in Columbus
Monday.

Miss Rena Mize, who has been visiting Miss Bessie Wooten, has returned to her
home at Dawson.

Miss Minnie Merrit, of Gainesville, attended the funeral of Mr. J. W. Slaughter
here Wednesday.

Mr. And Mrs. Benaja Peacock are visiting the family of Mr. R. M. Rainey in
Schley county this week.

Mr. W. T. Weaver, Jr., of Watkinsville, Ga., was in town yesterday visiting his
brother, Dr. J. A. Weaver.

Miss Alla Brown, who has been spending some time at the editor’s home, returned
to Stewart, county Sunday.

Miss Neople Stevens left Sunday afternoon for Manchester where she will resume
her studies at the Cox College.

Our friend Bill I Brown was in to see us yesterday.  He is now representing the
Glover Grocery Company, of Americus.

Mr. J. E. Cantrell, of Fairburn, and John Butt, of Americus, attended the
funeral of Mr. J. W. Slaughter Wednesday.

Oscar Christopher came back to Buena Vista last Friday and remained over until
Monday before going to Louisville, Ky.
