Dr. Hair did not return with the veterans, but remained in Texas where he is
seeking a location.  We learn that he will sell out in Buena Vista and his
family will join him in the west.

Desirable house and lot in Buena Vista, farm of about 285 acres situated next to
C.M. Clements’ place, vacant lot of 25 acres situated on Sixth Avenue within the
incorporate limits of Buena Vista containing about 500 peach trees, and vacant
lot of one acre in town near railroad junction.  Also stock of goods consisting
of Dry Goods, Notions, Groceries, Shoes, Hats, etc.  This property must be sold
in the next 60 days, as parties owning same are going west. Terms spot cash.

Having recently purchased the entire stock of Dry Goods, Groceries, Hats, Shoes,
etc. of R.M. Hair, we wish to announce that we are here for business, and if
fair and honest dealings count for anything, then we deserve and will appreciate
a share of your patronage.  We bought this stock cheap, and will give you a
bargain in anything you may wish to buy.  We will keep country produce on hand
at all times, and will be pleased to serve the trade.
