Candidates for Congress from County of Marion

Buena Vista, Ga., Nov. 24 –

The coming year will no doubt be the warmest political year in the history of
Marion County.

Marion County will likely place three candidates in the race for congressman
from the fourth district. Colonel Geo. P. Munro has announced his intention of
running for the office. Judge J.J. Dunham, who was defeated by Judge Adamson,
will probably be a candidate again, while the friends of Editor LeRoy
Hirshburg, of the Patriot, are mentioning his name in connection with the
office. With these three in the race for congress it is likely that the voters
over the district would be treated to some warm “jint disputes” as all three
are brilliant speakers and have been on “the huskins” before.
