Corinth News

Mr. Walter Hart and children spent the past Sunday
with Mr. and Mrs. H R Jordan and family.


Mrs. H J Jordan is recovering from a recent illness
to the delight of many friends.


Mr. J T McClung left Monday of Atlanta where he
expects to resume his work at the Chevrolet Plant.


Mr and Mrs. Clarence Davis and daughter, MR Bridges,
Mr. Holloway of Americus, Mr and Mrs A G Holoway of
Albany were guests Sunday of MR and Mrs. J Z Duke
and family


Miss Anne Jordan was the weekend guest this week of
her sister Mrs. Lelius Helms at B R I 


Rev and Mrs. Roberts and daughter MR. Dan Griffith
of Columbus, Mr and Mrs. Ed Wells and family, Mrs.
Della Davis and Mrs. L E McClung were dinner guests
Sunday of Mrs. H G Highnote and family


Mr J Z Duke Jr. of Macon spent a few days recently
with his parent here.


Mrs. E J Hart has invited the Home Demonstration
Club to meet her on February 12th.





Plans Completed for Birthday Ball


Buena Vista is expecting a record crowd at the
President's Ball which will be held at the court
house Wednesday night.


The nmusic committee has engaged one of the best
orchestras in the state and other forms of amusement
will be held for those who do not care to dance.


Everybody is urged to buy a ticket and thereby help
with this worth cause.
