Mrs. Walter Hart Passes


Mrs. Walter Hart died at her home near Knowlton's
Mill early Tuesday morning following a stroke of
paralysis.


Mrs. Hart was 45 years old and was known to be a
woman of many noble traits.  She was a member of the
Buena Vista Baptist Church and was a regular
attendant when her health permitted.


Funeral services were held at Union Church late
Tuesday afternoon by Rev. G A Briggs and was
attended by a large concourse of sorrowing friends
and relatives.  Interment was in the church
cemetery.


Besides her husband, she is survived by four
daughters and two sons.Marion County Patriot

Corinth News


Hosts of friends regret to learn of the death of
Mrs. Walter Hart.


Miss Alice Dillard is confined to her home with
measles.


Miss Willie Bell Duke was the weekend guest of Miss
Ann Jordan.


Mrs. Ernest Hart is nursing Mrs. McKibben at the
parsonage in Buena Vista.


ON account of sickness Corinth H D club was
postponed last Tuesday but are planning to meet with
Tazewell club Tuesday when Mrs. R J Richardson of
Tifton will talk on growing, caring and selling
poultry.


There have been s3everal changes in our community
recently.  MR and Mrs. George Amos have moved east
of Buena Vista.  Mr. and Mrs. Paul Green have moved
to the place formerly occupied by Mr. Shores.


The highways in this section have recently been put
in excellent condition.


Farmers here are quite busy preparing their farms
preparatory to planting season.

CORINTH NEWS

Corinth H. D. Club met with Mrs. Elanor Hart and
Mrs. Erenst Hart Tuesday afternoon with 11 members
present.  After the devotional by Mrs. L E McClung,
and the secretary's report by Mrs. Joe Duke, the
members were invited into the  kitchen where a
demonstration in yellow cheese making was given by
Mrs. Griner.  The members then returned to the
living room where the program was continued.  Why
Make a Spending Plan - Mrs. Duke  Household Pests -
Miss Lucile Hart and Mrs. Annie Barker.  At the
conclusion the hostesses served delicious sandwiches
and cheese toast to their guest. 


The next meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. T
D Shores.


Mr. & Mrs. T B Highnote and daughter, Carolyn, of
California are now with their parents Mr & Mrs. L H
Brasington and Mrs. H G Hightnote


Mr. J T McClung returned to Atlanta Sunday after a
few days visit with Mr. & Mrs. L E McClung and
Family.


Mssrs. T D Shores and Woodroe McClung are on the
sick list.


Mr & Mrs John Ridenhour of Tuskeegee AL were recent
guests of Mr. & Mrs. L Hs. Brasington.


Mrs. Ernest Hart spent Tuesday in Columbus.


Mrs. Elanor Hart spent the week end with Mr & Mrs
Darrie Snipes of Ellaville.

Mr. & Mrs. Pearl Dillard and family spent Sunday
wiht relatives in Schley County.
