Nuptials

A pretty home wedding took place Wednesday afternoon
at 1:30 o'clock at the residence of Mr. E. R.
Jernigan two miles north-east of town. The
contracting parties were Mr. R. H. McDaniel and Miss
F. L. Jernigan, daughter of Mr. Jernigan. The
ceremony was performed by Rev. LeRoy Hirshburg, in
the presence of neighbors and friends besides the
home circle, and after congratulations all repaired
to the dining room, where was prepared a sumptuous
feast of which every one enjoyed. It was the
anniversary of the birth of Mr. Jernigan, now 57
years of age, and also the 55th anniversary of the
birth of Mr. Willis Wiggins of Doyle, who with his
family were among the welcome guests. (rest of
column is cut off)
