March 8, 1938 - September 17, 2011
Edgar Leonard (Ed) Brown, 73, of Buena Vista, died Saturday, September 17, 
2011, at his residence. 

Funeral services were held at 2:00PM on Monday, September 19, 2011, in the 
Chapel of Watson-Tante Funeral Home with Reverend Chris Hess officiating. 
Burial followed the service at County Line Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery 
in Marion County, GA. Music was provided by Chris and Cindy Hess. Serving as 
pallbearers were Charles Cannon, Guy Munkus, Danny Munkus, Keith Weaver, Jason 
Glisson, and Shane Exline. The family received friends on Sunday evening at 
the funeral home. 

Mr. Brown was born March 8, 1938, in Brooklyn, GA, to Verner Leigh and Rosa 
Frances Lipsey Brown. He served in the Navy where he was a mechanic. He later 
worked as a carpenter for B&S Construction for 20 years. In addition to his 
parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Rose Brown, and by a 
granddaughter, Andrea Brook Cannon. 

He is survived by two daughters, Dennelle and Keith Weaver of Box Springs, GA, 
and Evonne Brown and Jason Glisson of Buena Vista, GA, by five brothers, 
Verner Brown of Waverly Hall, GA, Enoch Brown of Cusseta, GA, Charles Brown of 
Cusseta, GA, Coley Morgan of Cusseta, GA and Chris Morgan of Buena Vista, GA, 
by two sisters, Georgia Standridge of Columbus, GA, and Deborah Benton of 
Cusseta, GA. His mother-in-law, Dorothy Ehser of Buena Vista, Georgia, and 
three grandchildren, Jacob Cannon, Austin Weaver and Tiffany Weaver also 
survive. 

Watson-Tante Funeral Home in Buena Vista, GA, was in charge of arrangements.
