Viola Sinns Boston, age 93, of Albany, Georgia, died Monday, March 16, 2009, 
at her residence.

 Funeral services were held Friday, March 20, 2009, 2:00 PM at the Chapel of 
Tante Funeral Home, Buena Vista, Georgia with Rev. A. R. Curlee and Rev. Henry 
Cannington officiating.  Burial followed at Countyline Cemetery, Buena Vista, 
Georgia. The family received friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening.
 
Mrs. Boston was born September 21, 1915, in Turner County, Georgia, the 
daughter of Charlie and Mary Alice Turner Baker.  She had lived in Albany for 
the past 4 years moving there from Florida where she had lived several years.  
She was a former resident of Marion County, Georgia and the widow of William 
Thomas Sinns and James Boston. She was baptist by faith. In addition to her 
parents, Mrs. Boston was preceded in death by a son, William Lamar Sinns, a 
daughter, Shirley Sinns Tello, grandchildren, Julie Ann Nolin and Gary Douglas 
Harbuck, great granddaughter Sammie Jo Hastings, two brothers and four sisters.

Survivors include her sons, Jimmy Lewis Sinns of Buena Vista, GA; and James 
Lee (Tommy) Sinns of Haines City, FL; daughters, Ida Mae Nolin and Effie 
Louise Barnett both of Davenport, FL; Rosie Lee Bracken, Lake Wales, FL; 
Shelby Jean Gonsalves, Winter Haven FL; Martha Dale Mathews, Auburndale, FL; 
Mary Lorine Dell of Buena Vista, GA; Myrtle Ruth Gregory of Americus, GA; 
Angela Joanne Harper of Albany, GA; and Linda Sue Irwin of Trenton, GA; 39 
Grandchildren, 69 Great-Grandchildren, and 17 Great-Great-grandchildren also 
survive.

Tante Funeral Home of Buena Vista, Georgia was in charge of arrangements.
