In Memory

Again death has invaded our ranks and taken from us not only one of our most
faithful members but the oldest and most useful Past Master Mason of our
Lodge. One who loved the lodge and was always ready to serve it most
efficiently, when at twenty minutes to seven o’clock on the morning of the
fourteenth of December 1903 the breath left the body of Bro. Arrington and the
spirit of one of our truest and best brothers took its flight and left us bowed
down in deepest grief and sorrow therefore be it

Resolved 1st – That in the death of our beloved brother and past master J.J.
Arrington of Marion Lodge has lost the oldest and one of its most valued
members and the fraternity at large one of its most earnest and constant
workers and the community and church one of its most upright, sober and worthy
members.

Resolved 2nd – That a page (words blurred) be inscribed to the sacred memory of
Past Master J.J. Arrington.

Resolved 3rd – That a copy of these resolutions be furnished to the family of
our deceased brother and that they be spread upon our minutes and also be
published in the Marion County Patriot.

Respectfully submitted
