Charlie Boyd, 72, of Nashville died April 9, 2003 at Louis Smith Memorial 
Hospital.
 Born May 5, 1930 in Berrien Co. to the late Seaborn and Arlie Louise Lewis 
Boyd, he was a heavy equipment operator. He was of the Baptist faith.
 Survivors include his wife, Kathleen Mathis Boyd of Nashville; one daughter, 
Janice Hall of Nashville; three sons, Rickey Boyd and Bill Boyd both of 
Nashville and Lyle Boyd of Moultrie; one sister, Ruth Sirmans of Valdosta; two 
brothers, Carson Boyd of  Ray City and Horace Boyd of Rentz; nine 
grandchildren, two great grandchildren.
 Funeral services were held April 11 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral 
Home with the Rev. Junior Swain officiating. Buck Warren and Teresa Royals 
sang "Lets Meet by the River."
 Interment was in Poplar Springs Cemetery.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
