 James Allen Anderson, Jr., 69, of Nashville, died May 12, 2013, at South 
Georgia Medical Center Berrien Campus.
 He was born November 13, 1943, in Berrien County to the late James Allen and 
Eudine Rogers Anderson. He was a farmer and member of Nashville United Methodist 
Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Judy 
Smith, and a brother, Earl Anderson.
 He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann McKinnon Anderson of Nashville; three 
daughters, Angie (Randy) Mason of Dublin, Terri (Alan) Hamil of St. Augustine, 
Fl and Monica (Michael) Purvis of Adel; six grandchildren, Kinsley Mason, Ali 
Hamil, Kaitlyn Mason, Anderson Hamil, LeeAnn Purvis, Jansen Purvis.
 Funeral services were held May 17 at 2 p.m. at Nashville United Methodist 
Church with the Revs. Benjy Vernell and Russ Elkins officiating. Todd Griffin 
sang “Amazing Grace,” “No Tears in Heaven,” and “Small Town Southern Man.”
 Interment followed at Westview Cemetery.
 Active pallbearers were Anderson Hamil, Jimmy Clayton, Danny Anderson, Phil 
Smith, Wade King, John Alec McKinnon.
 Honorary pallbearers were Dixie Smith, Burt Anderson, Ken Douglas, Hank 
Franklin, Thomas Boyd, Lee Ray Rogers, Harry king, Frank McLendon, Dale Boyd.
 The family requests memorial to Nashville United Methodist Church.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
