JOHN M. "JACK" MERRICK: Merrick John M. (Jack), age 77. 1944 West High 

graduate. Passed away July 11, 2004. Preceded in death by daughter, Pam. 

Survived by wife, Bettie; 2 daughters and son, 7 grandchildren & 5 great-

grandchildren; & friend, Dennis. WWII Marine veteran. Memorial Mass 10 

AM Wed., July 14 at St. Joeseph's Catholic Church, 1310 Mainstreet, Hopkins. 

Visitation begins at 9:30 AM Wed. at the church.

NOTATIONS: This was my father's brother, the youngest of Ernest Mortimer 

& Loretta Mary (MILLS-maiden) Merrick's 5 children.Preceded in death by 

parents, sister Loretta (MERRICK-maiden) Irvin, brother Charles Forest 

Merrick, Edward Ernest Merrick Sr., and sister Jean Elizabeth 

(MERRICK-maiden) Heitke. Born 20 October 1926. Married Bettie Lou 

KUENSTER-maiden on 1 May 1954 in Minneapolis, MN (Hennepin Co.) in a 

civil ceremony; and 12 August 1978 in Hopkins, MN. (Hennepin Co.) in 

a church ceremony at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. His daughter Pam was 

his wife's daughter from a previous marriage; his children with Bettie 

are: Kevin Patrick, and Meleah Beth.
