NOTATIONS: This was my father's younger sister. She was born 8 March 1915

to Ernest Mortimer & Loretta Mary (MILLS-maiden) Merrick and died 12 March

2002 in Bloomington, MN (Hennepin Co.) She married Frederick C. ("Bud")

Heitke 28 June 1941 in Minneapolis, MN. (Hennepin Co.). She was preceded

in death by her parents Ernest & Loretta Merrick, sister Loretta (MERRICK-

maiden) Irvin of Omaha Nebraska, brother Charles Forest Merrick, and

brother Edward Ernest Merrick Sr. of Portland, Oregon. Mention of

memorials to Fraser Community Services refers to an orginization that

Mr. & Mrs. Heitke were patrons of; their son James was mentally challenged

and provided the family with services over the years. Mrs. Heitke suffered

from dementia in her later years although this was not generally made known

outside the family.
