"Ronald Rambosky - Ronald James Rambosky, born July 10, 1916 to Henry F. 

And Minnie Thompson Rambosky in Woodstock, Minnesota. He grew up on the 

farm and entered the U.S. Air Force on August 29, 1941. He received his 

training in Texas and Utah before being deployed to Rackheath Air Base at 

Norwich, England. He advance to the rank of Master Sergeant as a crew 

chief of maintenance on B-24 Bombers for the 467th Bonbardment Group 8th 

Air Force. He was a veteran of World War II. He was awarded the Bronze 

Star for meritorious service. After bing discharged on September 6, 1945 

he worked for Weyerhaueser Timber Company in the northwest hauling logs. 

In 1954 he became a long haul truck driver for Denver Chicago Truck Lines

until his retirement on January 8, 1981. He lived in Brighton, Colorado 

from 1954 until his death on January 12, 2005.

  Ron was a member of the Lakewood Baptist Church and the Teamsters #961. 

He was a very generous and caring person, continually helping neighbors, 

shoveling show; cutting weeds and doing anything he thought would benefit 

someone who might need a helping hand. He was a man of devout faith and 

was a pillar in his church. His many friends will sorely miss Ron.

  Survivers include: one sister, Edith P Jensen, Rushmore, MN; nieces 

Sheila Johnson, Apple Valley, MN, Sharon Cordill, Westlake Village, CA, 

Joan Estebo, Sibley, IA, Janet Opdahl, Slayton, MN, Patty Habeck, Brewster, 

MN, Suzanne Birnbaum, Minnesota. He was preceded in death by sister, Ruth 

R. McGee and Inez Block; brother, Henry T. Rambosky and his parents Henry 

and Minnie Rambosky.

  Graveside services and burial were at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, St. 

Paul, Minnesota on January 21, 2005. Memorials may be given to Life Source 

Hospice, 245 S. Benton Street, #205, Lakewood, CO 80226. Tabor Funeral Home, 

Brighton, CO was in charge of arrangements."
