FORMER LOCAL MAN
DIES AT St PAUL.
Death of Carl Glowartz Occurs October 31 as Result
of Blood Clot.

	Carl Glowartz, formerly of Mora, passed away at St. Joseph’s 
hospital in St. Paul Wednesday, October 31, from a blood clot near his 
heart He had been ill the past month.
	Funeral services were held at Assumption church Friday, November
2, at 10 a, m., and burial was in Calvary cemetery. Pallbearers were 
Clifford Breffle, Theo. Gospodor, Aug. Gruchalla, Thoma Filla, Walter 
Glowack and Victor GIowack
Carl. Glowartz was born at Warsaw, Poland, October 15, 1889, He farmed 
east of Mora for five years, and had lived in St. Paul the past year and 
a half, where he was employed in the laundry at St Joseph’s hospital. 
Surviving are his wife, Cecelia, one son, John, and one grandson, David;
also one sister, Mrs. Anna Bartkowski of International Falls and two 
brothers, Frank Glowac and John Glowac of Jamestown, North Dakota.

This is an obit of my great grandfather Carl Glowartz and 
shows his relation to Frank, John and Anna.
Note the differ spellings of the Surname.
I would like to find someone that has a picture of 
"John and Tina Glowack".
