Rowe Funeral Home, Grand Rapids, Minn.
Doris M. Dahline, age 78, of Grand Rapids, Minn., passed away Tuesday, April 28, 
2025 at Abbott-Northwester Hospital in Minneapolis, Minn.

Doris was born in 1936 to LeRoy and Maude Longmore in Warba, Minn.  She attended 
schools in Warba and Grand Rapids, Minn., graduating from Grand Rapids H.S. in 
1954.  Also, Doris attended Itasca Junior College.  On July 9, 1954, Doris was 
united in marriage to Harvey L. Dahline in Grand Rapids.  She owned and operated 
Mama's and Mama's Clothing Store in Grand Rapids from 1985 to 1995.  Also, Doris 
co-edited her husband, Harvey's, newspaper columns for the Grand Rapids Herald 
Review.

Doris was an active member of the Assembly of God Church in Grand Rapids and 
through the church she attended many missions' trips to other countries.  She 
loved 1uilting and put together many beautiful quilts for family and friends.  
Doris was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who always put her family and 
others first.

Preceding her in death were her parents, brothers (Merrill Mostoller, Harold 
Mostoller, Cecil Longmore and Ivan Longmore) and her sister, Mabel Bouchie.

Doris is survived by her beloved husband and best friend of 60 years, Harvey; 
four sons, Alan Dahline of Denver, Colorado, Ron Dahline of Williston, Florida, 
Robin (Cathe) Dahline of Grand Rapids, Minn. and Tom (Candice) Dahline of 
Aurora, Indiana; one daughter, Beth (Jim) Sweeney of Grand Rapids, Minn.; one 
sister, Lorraine Carter of Dunedin, Florida; nine grandchildren, Jesasica 
Sylvester, Colleen Sweeney, Nathaniah Dahline, Christa Sweeney, Noel Sweeney, 
Nicholas Sweeney, Jared Dahline and Justin Dahline, and five great-
grandchildren: and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, May 1, 2015 from 5 PM until 8 PM at the Rowe Funeral 
Home in Grand Rapids, Minn. and will continue on Saturday, May 2nd from noon 
util the 1 PM Funeral Service at the Assembly of God Church, Grand Rapids, Minn.  
Rev. Jason Kirchenmann will officiate.

Burial will be at Itasca-Calvary Cemetery in Grand Rapids.
