John Knuth Jr was born October 19, 1903 at Baggs, Carbon, Wyoming to John F 
Knuth and Margaret Haddie Klinker, the fourth of their five children. John 
never married, nor had children. 

Found in the 1910 census at Goose Prairie, Clay, MN: John J F Knut 46, Margret 
M Knut 38, Grover F Knut 16, Villey Knut Jr. 14, Dora C Knut 12, Johnny C Knut 
7, Walter E Knut 5. 

Found in the 1920 census at Verdi, Lincoln, MN: Grover Knuth 25, Willie J Knuth 
22, Dora K Knuth 21, John K Knuth 16, Walter D Knuth 14, Clara M Knuth 25, John 
W Knuth 1 yr 2 mos. 

John Knuth died December 15, 1927 at Pipestone, Minnesota and is buried at the 
Trosky Cemetery, Trosky, Pipestone, Minnesota. 

Newspaper obituary from the Pipestone County Star, December 20, 1927: 

Funeral services for John Knuth, Jr., whose death occurred at the Ashton 
Memorial Hospital, Pipestone, Minnesota, at 6:20 o'clock Friday morning, were 
held at 2:00 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Trosky church. Burial was in the 
Trosky cemetery. 

The late Mr. Knuth was taken ill suddenly about 8 am Sunday, December 11, 1927. 
He was brought to the hospital where it was found that he was suffering with 
intestinal hemorrhage caused from a clot of blood in the wall of the intestinal 
vessel. John Knuth, Jr. was the son of Mr. & Mrs. John Knuth, Trosky. He had 
reached the age of 24 years, 1 month, 26 days at the time of his death.
