Note from M Blair: "Dorothea came to the United States from Germany March 30,
1893 with her mother and stepfather and brothers and sisters. They settled in
Huron, South Dakota for a few years, then moved to Wyoming by wagon train. She
met Duncan Blair and they were married in 1897. To their union were born nine
children. The children born in Baggs, Wyoming, were christened at St. Luke's
Episcopal Church, Baggs, Wyoming."

2nd note from Dorothy: "When we arrived in a settlement around Tama County,
Iowa, we were truly amazed how many people we knew that lived around this area.
My mother and grandmother finally found their brother and son, Peter Ketelsen,
who had immigrated from Germany in 1891. His wife, Emmy and their 8 children
were so excited to see us. There were so many of them I couldn't seem to keep
all the names straight. but they all spoke German just like we did from Kurburg.
Well, unfortunately, we didn't stay long in Iowa. My mother was anxious to see
her sister, Margarite Ketelsen Jebens, who was now living in Huron, S. Dakota...."
