Ambrose Spencer Dyer, b June 19, 1845 Oneida Co., NY  died March 13, 1881
Pipestone, MN buried in Old Woodlawn Cemetery, Pipestone, MN.  Married to
Martha Ellen Vance, daughter of William Vance and Mary Elizabeth Ricker of
Groton, VT, on Oct ober 16, 1873 at La Crosse, WI. Was a merchant on
PipestoneMain (Olive) Street and a landowner. Member of Masons, served as
Mayor of Pipestone. Had three sons:Dr. William Penn Dyer (first Pipestone
High School graduating class), Seward Belmer Dyer, and Howard Vance Dyer.
Dr. William Penn Dyer b Aug 1874 La Crosse, WI, died Aug 15, 1955 New
Britain, CT, married Nellie Matilda Sylvester on Jan 03 1900 at Plainview,
MN. Nellie was born Dec 07 1873 Plainview, MN and died May 04, 1923, St.
Paul, MN. William and Nellie had two children: Alice Sylvester and George.
She  who married Frank Adolph Olson b Oct 17, 1894, Canby, Mn and died April
9, 1984. He owned and operated the Peoples Community Store in Verdi, MN for
many years. Frank and Alice had two sons:  Burton Sherwood Olson b July 12,
1930 who married Pamela Turner of Detroit, Michigan. Had two children:
Jennifer (married Scott Myer) and Jeffrey who died. Burton and Pamela  live
in Burnsville, Mn.  Kenneth Vance Olson who married Betty Annette Rust of
Lake Benton, MN had two children: Kristen Kay and Christopher Kent. Kristen
married Robert Blackburn Jr., They have two sons, Brandon and Dane. They
live in Houston, Texas. Christopher died in Hazelton, Pa on Oct 31, 1986.
Kenneth, born June 2, 1933 married 2nd time to Judith Elizabeth Knapp. They
live in New Britain, CT.
