Laurette Reinhardt, 83, of Winton, dies





Laurette Reinhardt, 83, of Winton, died Sunday, March 18, 2007 in the Ely 

Bloomenson Hospital. 



She was born March 10, 1924 in Chateau, France, the daughter of Alphae and 

Blanche Grosseret. She grew up in France where she met and married Richard 

"Dick" Reinhardt on October 5, 1946. 



They returned to the United States shortly after and lived with Richard's 

parents in Royalton and then moved to Pillager nine months later. They 

moved to the Winton Hydroelectric station in 1950 and moved to Winton in 

1960. 



Laurette was a member of the Ely United Methodist Church and the Ely VFW 

Post Auxiliary. She enjoyed embroidery, knitting, fishing and had a heart 

for animals. She cherished time spent with her grandchildren and great-

grandchildren. 



Laurette is survived by her children: Vicki (James) Wagner of Ely, Richard 

Reinhardt of Virginia, and Barbara Weisinger of Winton; grandchildren: 

Tricia (James) Schreffler of Ely, Monique (Scott) Sandquist of Gilbert, 

Luke (Melanie) Wagner of Castle Rock, CO, Daniel (Kim) Reinhardt of Rock 

Falls, IL and Wesley Weisinger of Winton, Jennifer (Jeremiah) Weisinger of 

Ely, Stacy Ashling of Bemidji and Darrin Weisinger of Winton; great-

granchildren: Olivia, Johnathan, Edward, Jackson, Emma and Elizabeth; 

sister: Simone (Jacques) Wiedenkeller of Chateau, France; and nieces and 

nephews. 



She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Richard, brothers: 

Robert and Freddy and grandson-in-law: Jay Ashling. 



A Memorial Service was held on Wednesday, March 21, 2007 in the Ely United 

Methodist Church. Pastor Dana Thompson officiated. 



Memorials are preferred to Contented Critters, P.O. Box 385 Makinen, MN 

55763. 



Family services provided Kerntz Brothers, A Bauman Family Funeral Home in 

Ely.
