Michael J. Olson, 37, of Hoyt Lakes died June 19, 2004, in Aurora.

He was born in Crosby, Minn., and was raised there and in Aurora, where he 
attended school. He worked in cable construction and machine shops in 
Colorado. He enjoyed rebuilding motorcycles and repairing cars as his 
hobbies.

He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Olson, and son, Todd Olson, of Hoyt 
Lakes; his parents, Donald and Karen Olson, and a sister, Kim Geiger of 
Aurora; two brothers, Todd Olson of Hoyt Lakes and Kevin Olson of Biwabik; a 
stepson, Steve DeLage of Aurora; nieces, Ashley and Megan Olson of Babbitt, 
Katy Geiger of Aurora, Kayla Berg and Lyndsey and Amy Olson of Hoyt Lakes; a 
nephew, Lee Olson of Hoyt Lakes; and maternal grandmother, Emma Moey of 
Clear Lake, Minn., as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Glenn Moey, and 
paternal grandparents, Albert and Viola Olson
