Cordell LaVigne, 39, of Virginia, dies


Cordell LaVigne, 39, of Virginia, died Sunday, Dec. 19, 2004, at St. 
Mary's Medical Center in Duluth.

He was born May 6, 1965 in Ely, to Ron Salo and Karen LaVigne. He grew up 
in Virginia, attended Virginia schools and graduated from Babbitt High 
School. He worked in the construction industry as a plumber in California 
until he was disabled. He liked hunting, fishing and playing pool.

He is survived by his father Ron Salo of Embarrass; his mother Karen 
LaVigne of St. Petersburg, FL; brothers Mark LaVigne of Pinellas Park, 
FL; Bran LaVigne of St. Petersburg, FL; significant other, Valerie Boness 
of Virginia and her children; and maternal grandparents, Kenneth and 
Noble Brobin.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents George and Edna 
Salo.
