Evelyn Jeanette Kittelson, 74, Babbitt, dies

Evelyn Jeanette Kittelson, 74, Babbitt, died Friday, January 14, 2005 in 
St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth. She was born September 30, 1930 in 
Fertile, MN the daughter of John and Lillian (Johnson) Wang and attended 
Fertile High school.

Evelyn married John Harold Kittelson on May 4, 1950 in Fertile and they 
lived in Pengilly, Babbitt, Pueblo, CO and Wright, WY prior to returning 
to Babbitt in 1987. She was employed as a Custodian for the Campbell 
County School in Wright; was a homemaker; and a member of Evangelical 
Lutheran Church in Babbitt. Evelyn enjoyed knitting, baking, and crafts 
and cherished the time spent with her family.

Evelyn is survived by mother: Lillian Wang of Fertile, MN; children: John 
(Jackie) Kittelson of Tacoma,WA, Norma (Jack) Cersine of Babbitt, Mary 
Kingan of Wright, WY, Karen (Dennis) Stugelmeyer of Moorhead, and Michael 
Kittelson of Babbitt; grandsons: Jack Cersine, Jr., John Michael 
Kittelson, Scott Kittelson, Scott Stugelmeyer, Brian Stugelmeyer, and 
Ralph Kingan; great-grandchildren: Elias, Gabriel, Madeline, Jonah, and 
Christian; brothers and sisters: Dorothy Working of Lynnwood, WA, Esther 
(Ervin) Olson of Babbitt, Marlys Halmrast of Eagan, Gloria Monson of 
Phoenix, AZ, James Wang of Hinckley, and Danny (Allison) Wang of Scobey, 
MT; sister-in-law: Eileen Evanson of Mayville, ND, and numerous nieces 
and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, her husband; a daughter: 
Margaret; and a brother: David.

Memorial Services were held Wednesday, January 19, 2005 at the 
Evangelical Lutheran Church in Babbitt. Pastor Charles Barnes officiated. 
Inurnment will be in the Maple Lake Lutheran Cemetery.Memorials are 
preferred and may directed to SMDC Hospice or the American Lung 
Association.
