ANDREW "NONNY" HOROSHAK JR., 65, of Lake Vermilion, Tower, died Saturday, 
Dec.18, 2004 in a drowning accident on Lake Vermilion.

He was born January 28, 1939, in Eveleth, to Andrew and Angie (Altobelli) 
Horoshak. He graduated from Eveleth High School and then married Patricia 
Anne Horoshak in Eveleth on October 26, 1963. Nonny was a member and past 
president of the Eveleth Curling Club, a member of the Eveleth Elks Club, 
a member of the Vermilion Sportsman Club, and was an avid hunter and 
fisherman. Nonny touched the lives of many people with his unbridled 
generosity and love of life.

He is survived by the mother of his sons, Patricia Horoshak of Oak Park, 
MN, his sons, Michael Andrew Horoshak of Oak Park, MN, and John Edward 
(Alexa) Horoshak of Orono, MN, grandchildren, Christopher Horoshak, Danny 
Horoshak, Wil Horoshak, and Brody Horoshak; and special life partner and 
best friend, Kay Torkkola, and son Scott Torkkola and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Richard 
Horoshak.

Mass of Christian Burial was held Wednesday, Dec. 22 at Resurrection 
Catholic Church in Eveleth. The Rev. Joel Hastings officiated.
