Gerald Barich, 81, of Ely died Wednesday, June 16, 2004, in Duluth.

He was born Dec. 9, 1922, to Steve and Dorothy (Neff) Barich in Ely.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Celine; two children, Dennis 
Barich of Minneapolis and Deborah (Clay) Worthly of Maynardville, TN; 
a grandson, Bryan McGowan, of Shakopee; a great-grandson, Jordan McGowan; 
and two sisters, Shirley Rothman and Dorothy Pickett, both of Ely.

There will be no services, per Gerald’s request. Services were provided
by Kerntz Brothers, a Bauman Family Funeral Home in Ely.
