Jacob Moses settled along the Forbes Road in 1767 on a tract
land containing 315 acres, patent 1319 and survey order 2890.
served in the French and Indian War in the Provincial Company
of Captain Edward Ward, which was under the command of
John Forbes. The records disclose little more concerning
activities of Moses.
