In the name of God, Amen. I Amelia Speicher of the township of Stonycreek in
the County of Somerset and State of Pennsylvania (single woman) being in good
health of body and of sound and disposing mind and memory, do make and declare
this to be my will and testament in the manner following, that is to say I order
all my just debts, funeral expenses and charges of proving this my last will, be
in the first place fully paid and satisfied, and after payment thereof, I give
and bequeath unto my beloved brother Jacob J. Speicher all my personal property
of whatsoever kind or nature I now have or hereafter may be possessed of
including all moneys now due or hereafter to become due me. And further I give
and devise unto the said Jacob J. Speicher all the real estate which I may own
at the time of my death or which may afterwards revert to me. And I hereby
constitute and appoint Jacob J. Speicher (afore named) executor of this my last
will hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me at anytime made and
declare this only to be my last will and testament. In witness whereof I the
said testatrix Amelia Speicher have to this my last will and testament set my
hand and seal this 9th day of February A.D. 1878

and for her last will and testament in the presence of us who in her presence
and at her request have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto

On this 11th day of July A.D. 1896 before me Jacob S. Miller register for the
probate of wills and granting letters of administration in and for the county
aforesaid personally came Simon P. Miller and W. M. Schrock the subscribing
witnesses to the will hereto attached who being duly affirmed according to law,
do say that they were present and saw and heard Amelia Speicher the testatrix
sign, seal, publish, pronounce and declare the foregoing instrument as and for
her last will and testament and that at the time of so doing she the said Amelia
Speicher was of sound mind, memory and understanding to the best of their
knowledge and belief
