In the name of God Amen.  I John Boyer of the township of Stony Creek county of
Somerset and State of Pennsylvania do make this my last will and testament
hereby revoking all former wills by me made heretofore.  Firstly it is my will
that all my just debts owing by me at the time of my death and my funeral
expenses be paid.  Secondly it is my will after my just debts being paid that my
wife Hannah shall keep the place we now occupy and every other property that may
be left after the debts being paid as aforesaid during her natural life or as
long as she is my widow and after her death or losing my name.
Then it is my will that my herein after named executors sell at public sale all
property real and personal and divide the proceeds thereof among my children
equal share and share alike.  Namely my daughter Polly, my son George,
Elisabeth, Sarah, Catharine, Susan, Sophia, Hannah, Peter, Eve and Harriet.  
Thirdly I will that my hereinafter named executors sell at public sale so much
of my personal property after my death as will satisfy all my debts aforesaid. 
Lastly I nominate and appoint my friend Joseph Glessner and my wife Hannah
executor and executrix of this my last will and testament.  In witness whereof I
have hereunto set my hand and seal the 5th day of August in the year of our lord
1848.  Signed and sealed in presence of us

And now to wit November 15th AD 1856 Personally appeared before me Jacob Neff,
register for the probate of wills and granting letters of administration in and
for said county Jacob Ringler and Tobias Musser the subscribing witnesses hereto
who being duly affirmed according to law depose and say that they were present,
saw and heard the within named testator John Boyer sign, seal, publish,
pronounce and declare the within instrument of writing as and for his last will
and testament and at the time so doing he was of sound mind, memory and
understanding to the best of their knowledge and belief
