 Know all men by these presents that we John Custer and Michael Custer of 
Paint Twp. in the County of Somerset, Pa both sons and heirs in law to the 
estate of Frederick Custer late of Conemaugh Twp. County and state aforesaid 
deceased do hereby acknowledge that we have this day had and received of and 
from John Hamer and Jacob Custer (Administrators of the estate of said 
Frederick Custer dec'd) who being by certain proceedings in the Orphans Court 
of Somerset Co . fully empowered to Sell the real estate of said deceased and 
divided amongst the several heirs of said dec'd the sum of one hundred and 
twenty five dollars to each of us in hand paid in full satisfaction and 
payment for each of our equal share and legacies from the real estate of said 
dec 'd, and al interests accrued thereupon. And therefore the said John Custer 
and Michael Custer as children thereof aforesaid, do by these presents, 
release, acquit, and forever discharge the said John Hamer and Jacob Custer 
their heirs Executors and Administrators of and from the Said Legacy and 
legacies and of and from all actions, suits payments, accounting, reckonings 
claims and demands, whatsoever as administrators aforesaid for and by reason 
thereof or of any other act, matter, cause or thing whatsoever from the 
beginning of the world to the day of the date of these presents. Witnesses our 
hand and seals this 9th day of November AD one thousand eight hundred forty-
