Woman shot Dead, Gun Beside Her Miss Gertrude Boyle, 47, of 4819 Sprinfleet Ave. 
Essington, was found dead last night in the  bedroom of a home at 7421 Beverly 
road, Oak Lane, where she was visiting.  A .22 caliber revolver was lying beside 
her.

A bullet from the weapon had penetrated her right temple.  She was pronounced 
dead on arrival at Jewish Hospital.  Mrs. Mary (Marie M.) LaRocque with whom she 
was visiting, said Miss Boyle had been ill for some time.
