EIGHTY-FIVE YEAR OLD WOMAN HUSTLER

Mrs. Nancy Miller Goes to Mountains for Berries and Kills Rattlesnake

Special to the Tribune.
Lewistown Junction, August 6. - Mrs. Nancy Miller, who spends her time with
her daughter, Mrs. W. S. Bishop in the Lewistown Narrows, performed a feat
today that many women thirty years her junior would have been exceedingly
proud of. Mrs. Miller is bordering on her eighty-fifth year and yesterday
morning she picked up her pail and accompanied the crowd of young people to
the mountains for huckleberries. Mrs. Miller was as young as any of them,
climbing the high steep mountains with great vigor; she picked ten quarts of
berries, killed a large rattle snake and returned home in time to get supper
for the family.
