Brosius Reunion A family reunion of Mr. & Mrs. David M. Brosius, of
Frostburg, Pa., was held at the home of their daughter, Mrs. Azza Shaffer, of
Worthville. The noon-day meal was served in the barn where 41 were seated at
the table, all being members of the one big family.
This is the first family reunion held by Mr. & Mrs. Brosius for a number
of years that the family was fortunate enough to attend. After the meal was
served a very enjoyable afternoon was spent, some very interesting readings
recitations and songs were given by the grandchildren. The program was
concluded by a very interesting talk by Mr. Brosius, who explained the school
system of fifty & sixty years ago in that particular section. His remarks
were concluded by instructing the children to live a good, clean, upright
life, better fitting themselves for the future. His remarks were both
interesting and instructive to all. After wishing the head of the family many
more years of happiness, all departed for their various homes. Mr. & Mrs.
Brosius are 73 and 69 years old, respectively, and are enjoying good health.
