A Greene County Newspaper Found In  The  Sarah Kerr Scrapbook September 27, 1948

90 Years Old   --PHOTO--   MRS. JENNIE BISSETT



Mrs. Jennie Bissett, of Ned, celebrated her 90th birthday on Sunday Sept 26.   

Five generations were on hand to help celebrate.  An open house was held at at 

her home and many were there to wish "Aunt Jennie" many happy returns.  



Additional Comments:

I assume this newspaper article was  printed in 1948 as her cemetery  marker 

states that Jennie E Bissett  was born 1858 and  died 1954. Her spouse 

information is   L Jesse Bissett 1850-1939.  The cemetery is Sandhill  

Cemetery located in Springhill Twp. Greene Co PA in the Ned community on Ned 

Ridge Road.
