JOHN L. LONGANECKER

Private John L. Longanecker of the 80th Division has returned home after
having been honorably discharged from the service. He arrived in New
York on January 31, and was sent to Camp Dix where he received his
discharge on February 14. Private Longanecker participated in the
fierce fighting at Argonne forest and at Verdun. During the latter
action, he was wounded by a machine gun bullet. At the time of the
signing of the armistice, he was in a hospital.
