Herald Standard March 14, 1941
     Social hour following rehearsal by the Brownfield Church choir took the
form of a surprise miscellaneous shower honoring Mrs. Clifford Bailey, the
former Annette Rumbaugh of Brownfield, who recently revealed her marriage of
January 18.
     Held in the social rooms of the church, the affair resulted in an array
of varied and lovely gifts for the bride.  Games and lunch were highlights of
the evening.
     Members of the choir attending were Pauline Worthington, Thelma Baker,
Mae Patterson, Patti Curstead, Jean Patterson, Betty Patterson, Betty Elsey,
Olive Mae Sipole, Nell Curstead, Mildred Mitchell, Hazel Gwynne, Florence
Curstead, Sadie Rumbaugh, Arthur Kennedy, Woody Miller, pianist; Edna Mae
Curstead, choir director; Judson Miller, and the guest of honor, Mrs. Bailey.
