A Pension at Last.
  Frederick Small was a soldier in the Rebellion and before he dropped the 
blue and put away his musket a minnie ball embedded itself in his leg at the 
knee.  For some years Frederick has been endeavoring through the assistance of 
S. L. Armour to procure a pension, and at last has succeeded in getting $2 a 
month, to date from April 13, 1863.
